Dear fellow PhD candidates,
How are you doing? We are doing great! The weather is getting better, the vaccination coverage is increasing, so all good news. We want to plan a social event again, so save the date: Summer drinks on the 24th of June! If the rules allow it, we will plan something in real life, and otherwise it will be a nice online event. Keep an eye on our social media and our next newsletter.
Also, we are looking for someone to join our LAP board! Scroll down to read more.
Lastly, thank you all for joining the webinar "Women as leaders" last month. More than 130 of you were listening to the interesting talks of retired cardiologist Hariette Verwey, rector magnificus Hester Bijl, and dr. Liesbeth Winter of Vitaal LUMC. We hope you enjoyed the talks and the workshops as much as we did.
Do let us know if you have any questions.
Best,
The LAP board

Inclusion of PhDs questionnaire
Inclusion is becoming an increasingly important topic in the academic world. To aid in discussions regarding inclusion, we want to know more about the current inclusion situation for PhD and PDEng candidates. A survey has been developed for this by the PhD Council of the University of Twente (P-NUT) and a local researcher. Your contribution will go a long way to give insights on the matter.
Please fill out the questionnaire here
