Open Science & Open Access: your fulltext article in the Leiden Repository
An important target for scientific publications from LUMC authors, is to publish these in Open Access. Open Access makes it possible for everyone in the world to read the article for free. One of the ways to achieve this is to upload a pdf of a publication in the Leiden Repository. These uploads are managed by the MDA department (Metadataservices & Acquisition) of the University Library.
This is the method to follow: departments are themselves responsible for registering their publications (via Web of Science) in the Converis publication module. The MDA department then adds the PDF of the publication in Converis and makes it subsequently available online in open access via the Leiden Repository. This way, by adding new publications into Converis on a regular basis throughout the year, these can be made open access more quickly. Send an email if you have further questions about open access.

The Grants Newsletter of September has been published on Albinusnet, click here to read. If you have any ideas to expand your research, want to continue as a postdoc or just want to see what kind of grants are available to you in the future, make sure to check it out!
